About The Role

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for service delivery, reliability, and scalability. This hands-on role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, automation, and system reliability, with opportunities to mentor and influence our technical infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Helm Charts, ensuring security best practices including SAST and DAST

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for security and efficiency

Implement monitoring with tools like Grafana and DataDog for high system availability

Lead automation and configuration management initiatives, collaborating on technical requirements and scalability

Maintain production environments with a focus on microservices and container orchestration

Mentor junior engineers and participate in cross-functional projects

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability

Design and implement system architecture and automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Who You Are (Required)

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation)
• Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration skills
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and Linux systems
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
• Effective communicator able to work in ambiguous environments and collaborate across teams
• Experience with shift-left practices including security and testing automation

Who You Are (Preferred)

• Experience supporting large-scale systems (>100,000 users)
• Background in e-commerce and Shopify
• Leadership or mentorship experience
• Familiarity with SDLC stages
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments

Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually, with variation based on location, experience, and performance. Complex offers total rewards beyond salary.
