Role:

A large manufacturing company is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in analyzing and improving product costing and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Details:

Cost Accountant

Location: Phillipsburg, NJ

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed product costing and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and router controls
• Manage and monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold
• Conduct profitability and variance analysis to support business decisions
• Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and planning teams to align financial reporting with production activities
• Identify opportunities for cost improvements and operational efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Working Situation:

This position is in-office.
