This position can be based out of our Dallas, TX or St. Louis, MO office.

About The Position

As a Senior BIM Specialist, you will provide building information modeling (BIM) services for projects, developing fully constructible 3D models and detailed construction documents to support field electricians with electrical installations. You will collaborate with project managers and team members, involving project planning tailored to each project.

Day in the Life

• Executes and tracks daily work plans, recommends improvements, and provides technical support to project teams and clients.
• Works closely with design teams on modeling, clash detection, and sheet annotation. Gathers information from other disciplines to complete electrical designs on schedule.
• Produces 3D models and detailed electrical construction documents using Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, and other software.
• Develops conceptual designs, sketches, and value engineering ideas to assist in estimating and planning.
• Reviews vendor shop drawings, develops engineered construction drawings, and participates in BIM coordination meetings.
• Maintains knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards, participating in ongoing training.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in BIM, engineering, or related field.
• 3-4 years of BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office; Evolve experience a plus.
• Ability to interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications; knowledge of the National Electrical Code preferred.
• Basic project management skills and understanding of project lifecycle.
• Strong interest in electrical design and construction, dependable team player, eager to grow with the company.

Travel

• Occasional travel may be required.
