Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Woburn MA – On-site

Salary: The expected salary range is $88,000-$90,000 per year

Pharmaron are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. At Pharmaron, we pride ourselves on fostering innovation and delivering quality in a cGxP-compliant bioanalytical environment.

Your Role As a QA Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting operational excellence and ensuring the highest quality standards. You'll contribute to quality systems, perform audits, and assist in maintaining our facility's inspection-ready status while collaborating across departments to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in quality systems, including Deviations, Change Control, CAPA, Training, and Risk Assessments.
  • Manage controlled document systems: author, review, and approve SOPs, protocols, and technical reports.
  • Conduct GLP audits, root-cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Review laboratory data and reports; issue Certificates of Analysis adhering to client timelines.
  • Provide training on cGxP topics and support regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold equipment qualification and calibration programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an inspection-ready facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or a related scientific field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a GMP/GLP pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
  • ISO experience and familiarity with TrackWise preferred.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in regulatory inspections is a plus.
