This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and estimation best practices.Minimum QualificationsKnowledge of electrical construction and theory typically acquired through a formal electrical training program, a two-year technical/business degree, or equivalent experienceProficiency with construction estimating software and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKey Skills & CompetenciesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to develop conceptual estimates and perform detailed financial analysisStrong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentialityAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlinesPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform quantity takeoffs and enter data into estimating softwareSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotesAnalyze material pricing and incorporate current cost dataReview and estimate addenda as neededParticipate in site walks and pre-bid meetingsAnalyze bid and construction schedulesDraft and submit proposal documents to clientsConduct post-bid closeout proceduresParticipate in weekly estimating team meetingsPerform additional duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsBackground in electrical construction or a degree in construction managementCompensation & BenefitsMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimatingMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid term life insurance and AD&D coverage401(k) with employer match and company contributionPaid time off (PTO) up to 120 hours annually7 company-paid holidaysInterested in hearing more?
