Job Description:
Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone. Develops and expands new and existing client relationships by offering financial solutions tailored to client needs through consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth. Supports teller transactions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles routine client maintenance requests, resolves problems, and performs advanced sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product and service lines.Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by promoting products and services, focusing on relationship development, expansion, and retention.Supports the sales process through consultative conversations and refers complex client needs to specialists.Participates in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.Enhances sales techniques and product knowledge through training and development opportunities.Advises clients on consumer lending options and processes loan applications.Adheres to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.Provides a consistent, courteous client service experience, including handling teller transactions and assisting clients within the branch.Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience in sourcing and building client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Compliance with SAFE/Mortgage Licensing Act within 30 days of employment
- Ability to multi-task and work flexible hours, including weekends and travel
Preferred:
- Associate's degree or higher
- Strong multi-priority management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in selling deposit, credit, and retirement products
- Proven sales performance
- Understanding of bank operations and policies
