Job Scope :

The Assistant Program Director is responsible for assisting the Program Director in all aspects of residential operations to ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, as well as PCMH policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include ensuring quality case management and care for residents, maintaining case records, leading and supervising direct care staff, and responding to crises.

Essential Functions :

  • Ensure residents follow appropriate psychiatric and medical plans; approve individual service plans as needed.
  • Maintain case records according to regulatory requirements; review and sign off on records; approve admission and discharge summaries.
  • Assist residents with service delivery activities as needed.
  • Supervise Residential Counselors and Front Desk Counselors.
  • Maintain a small resident caseload as needed.
  • Conduct and participate in case conferences.
  • Plan and schedule recreational and social activities.
  • Report untoward incidents and follow up accordingly.
  • Prepare written correspondence on resident issues.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain relationships with provider groups and referral sources.
  • Ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with collection and submission of rental payments and receipts.
  • Enforce lease terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulatory requirements where applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Regional Director, or Director of Residential Services.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • A Master's Degree in a Mental Health discipline or related field is preferred; a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and publishing software.
