Purpose of Position

The Pilot provides a superior, safe air transportation experience, maintaining a strong safety record on every flight. They represent NetJets by delivering safe transportation and exceptional service to owners and passengers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely from taxi to landing, following FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the Flight Operations Manual, Aircraft Operating Manual, and SOPs. Greet owners/passengers, brief them on the flight, verify itineraries, and provide weather updates and safety instructions.
  • Deliver in-flight service as needed, including handling alcohol and catering.
  • Load and stow baggage properly.
  • Handle flights involving pets and smoking owners.
  • Act as the final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a liaison for owners/passengers from arrival at the FBO to final destination.
  • Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Control Center and complete related paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, depending on the position.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Certifications and Licenses

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP with multi-engine rating required, along with a First Class Medical Certificate.

Experience

Experience requirements vary; specific hours are outlined in detailed qualifications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)

  • FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet ATP requirements with multi-engine rating.
  • Minimum age of 21, with specified flight hours: 1,500 total, or 1,250 with university R-ATP, or 1,000 with military qualification.
  • Additional flight hour requirements include cross-country, fixed-wing PIC, night flying, and instrument time.
  • Valid passport, ability to travel internationally, and work authorization in the U.S.
  • Flexible working hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to manage rest and be prepared for long duty days spanning multiple time zones.
  • Ability to obtain necessary security badges and pass TSA background checks.
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and decision-making ability.
  • Physical ability to exert force to move objects, handle animals, and conduct flights for smoking owners.

Base Salary Range

$69,932 - $95,696

Additional benefits include paid time off, disability programs, commuter benefits, and company-paid life insurance. Overtime, bonuses, and shift differentials may also be available depending on the role.
