Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer for Test to design and develop test tools and utilities for our members to test new or updated functions. You will be part of a lean QA team, collaborating across the entire technology organization to make a significant impact. Success in this role requires Java programming and Linux experience. Since this position is client-facing, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating testing software and scripts for all components, focusing on edge cases and conformance to policies and procedures
• Implement automated test scripts programmatically
• Review test scripts with technical writers, lead programmers, and stakeholders
• Develop end-to-end integration test scripts targeting edge cases
• Generate pass/fail metrics and develop methodologies for evaluating code quality based on testing results
• Coordinate verification testing for new members
• Develop tools to assist members in UAT testing and monitoring
• Participate in weekend checkouts as needed

Candidate Profile:

• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Java and Linux
• Knowledge of trading systems and FIX protocol

The starting annual salary range for this NY-based position is $175,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and other factors. The role is eligible for bonus and equity. Salary ranges are subject to change.
