Summary

Dr. Cleveland's research focuses on the molecular pathogenesis of cancer, investigating oncogenes, tumor suppressors, and new targets involved in cancer development and maintenance. We seek a motivated Research Laboratory Coordinator to conduct independent research, providing leadership and supervision to Dr. Cleveland's lab.

Position Highlights
  • Collaborate with biomedical data scientists, software engineers, cancer biologists, and physicians in a dynamic environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Can conduct biological research experiments and analyses using scientific methods.
  • Can plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
  • Can establish effective working relationships and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct and oversee experiments.
  • Supervise lab staff such as undergrad students, research associates, postdocs, and scientists.
  • Communicate analysis results to researchers.
  • Manage inventory and sample retrieval.
  • Coordinate with collaborators regarding project needs and timelines.
Credentials and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience or master's degree with two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a lab is required.
  • Ability to conduct biological experiments and analyses.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
