Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support a 24/7 Technical Operations Center (TOC) responsible for monitoring and maintaining a complex, nationwide IT infrastructure. This is a mission-critical environment that demands real-time responsiveness, technical leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary IT teams.

Location: Camp Springs, MD Clearance Requirement: Must have a favorably adjudicated background investigation appropriate for the sensitivity level of the role Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality standards in planning, execution, and delivery
  • Lead large-scale IT initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of emerging technologies like AI and automation
  • Oversee real-time infrastructure monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic decisions
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical staff and business stakeholders
  • Track project milestones to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of IT experience
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • At least one technical certification preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, MCITP/MCSE, CISSP)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT environments in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
