Our P&C team works to empower businesses by meeting their needs so they can take care of their employees and clients. In this role you will:
- Work with various insurance industry personnel to revise coverage, renew, and create insurance policies and proposal packages - handles presentation of same
- Coordinate logistics of the overall account management process in collaboration with Producers
- Issue and process various insurance documents, such as Certificates of Insurance, invoicing, renewals, etc.
- Review customer contracts to ensure coverage aligns with contract requirements
- Review policies for accuracy and follow up on needed corrections
- Provide high-level assistance to clients to resolve business account issues satisfactorily
- Support existing accounts and clients by answering questions, providing documentation, interpreting, and communicating policy coverage
- Perform cross-functional tasks and serve as back-up to other staff or management
- Identify potential exposures of existing clients and recommend suitable coverage to address them
- Input information and track activities in account management system software
- Assist in designing workflows and training for the commercial lines staff
Job Requirements
You have:
- A high school degree and a minimum of 10 years of account management/customer service experience in Commercial Lines - Property and Casualty insurance
- Current Property and Casualty license in Alabama
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with commercial software programs including Microsoft Office
- Basic mathematical skills for policy needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/customers effectively
You may have:
- Bachelor's or other educational degrees
- Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, CRM, CPCU
- Experience with agency management systems like Vertafore AMS360, Work Smart, Image Right, etc.
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations
