As a collaborative member of the healthcare team, the Chaplain Associate shall provide spiritual care for patients, families, volunteers, hospital and medical staff; participate in departmental activities as required; perform all duties in ways promoting organizational and departmental missions and values. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Professional Theological Degree, e.g. M. Div., MTS, BD, desirable, and/or one unit of ACPE Certified Clinical Pastoral Education, or equivalent, required, with one year ACPE Certified Clinical Pastoral Education desirable. Experience: One year of full-time Pastoral experience, or equivalent. Skills:Spiritual perspectives and sensitivity to persons in stress. Ability to listen well and speak with individuals and small groups. Theological competence. Skill with interdisciplinary team cooperation. Excellent communication skills.
