Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service that ensures high satisfaction levels.
- Assist customers in person and via phone by determining their needs and offering suitable products.
- Foster strong relationships with both retail and wholesale customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
- Select products from shelves or warehouse as required.
- Tint and mix products as per customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and arrange visually appealing displays.
- Maintain cleanliness of store equipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks when required.
- Assist with deliveries as needed.
- Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Keep updated on product offerings and available options.
- Adhere to inventory control procedures.
- Propose effective ideas to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be authorized to work legally without needing sponsorship.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion, with or without accommodation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- For current Sherwin-Williams employees, must meet performance appraisal expectations and complete required training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service roles.
- Experience in selling paint or related products.
- Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
