As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about our products, and suggesting the best solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving any customer concerns promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Staying informed about our product features and maintaining store standards will be essential in achieving our sales goals.

Your role will involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash and valuable items, so a criminal history review is necessary to maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone.

We are proud to share that this position requires working within a 40-mile radius of the store located at 2159 WHITE ST STE 25, YORK, PA 17404.

    The responsibilities will include:

    • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding service.
    • Assisting customers in-store and over the phone by identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
    • Building trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
    • Accurately processing transactions according to company policies.
    • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
    • Maintaining records and formulas for work orders.
    • Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse.
    • Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
    • Restocking shelves and setting up displays.
    • Maintaining cleanliness of store equipment.
    • Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
    • Assisting with deliveries as needed.
    • Keeping designated areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
    • Remaining knowledgeable about available products and options.
    • Following inventory control procedures.
    • Suggesting improvements for sales strategies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
    • Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
    • Must have a valid Driver's License.
    • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
    • Must be flexible to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have a satisfactory performance rating.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • At least one year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
    • Experience selling paint or related products.
    • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
