Position Details:

• Earn $20.00 per hour with benefits starting Day 1, including free uniforms and safety boots.
• Enjoy a 4-day work week from Sunday to Wednesday, 4:30am - 3:00pm.
• This position is based in Rice, MN.

Position Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will be vital in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of company vehicles and equipment. This includes performing road service, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also engage with your co-workers professionally, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for operations by reviewing work schedules, conducting safety checks, and gathering necessary supplies.
• Assist in scheduled tractor inspections, complete checklists, and perform routine repairs.
• Support major repairs on vehicles including disassembly and replacement of parts in engines, transmissions, and other systems.
• Help service and repair refrigeration units, maintaining proper functionality and compliance.
• Operate welding equipment for repairs and construction of necessary tools and equipment.
• Assist with road service calls and maintain accurate logs, records, and a clean workspace.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned to support the team's efforts.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. A minimum of 6-12 months of training in truck/automotive maintenance is preferred, with the ability to interpret complex data, diagrams, and specifications.
