Design Production Systems: Develop a production system concept for wire harness installations in aircraft assembly, focusing on the integration of supplier-fabricated structural assemblies. Collaborate with Suppliers: Work closely with external suppliers to explore opportunities for pre-installing harness components, such as standoffs and supports, during the fabrication process. Process Optimization: Establish and document streamlined processes, guidelines, and standards to improve the efficiency, safety, and ease of harness installation, identifying preferred components and methods. Damage Mitigation and Repair: Anticipate potential damage to wire harnesses during production and develop strategies for damage prevention and repair procedures to maintain integrity and safety.
