The Student Life Child Center Specialist/ Group Teacher reports to the Student Life Child Care Center Manager or his/her Designee. The. Group Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. This role focuses on curriculum development, child supervision, ongoing assessment, and promoting parent engagement. The teacher will also train and supervise interns and college work-study students and participate in professional development activities. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum and Supervision - Supervise preschoolers to ensure their safety across various environments. - Develop and implement culturally responsive and developmentally appropriate curriculum. - Submit lesson plans and follow structured daily schedules (includes meals, transitions, group activities, etc.). - Create hands-on, interactive learning experiences that promote holistic development. - Set up, maintain, and update classroom learning centers and materials....Teacher, Specialist, Support Staff, Student, Development
