The Community Lenders primary focus is establishing, participating and maintaining relationships within Low to Moderate Income and Majority Minority customers, in accordance with company policies and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsible for all aspects of the Mortgage Loan Origination process including accurate, efficient and timely handling from receipt of the loan application to the closing and management of the pipeline for all originated loans to ensure closure within the rate-lock period. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while meeting sales and community development goals. Must attain and maintain an active registration status with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry). Represent Horizon Bank to both internal and external customers in a courteous, professional manner in face-to-face, written, telephone and virtual communications.
