Works with nursing staff, residents, families and other members of the health care team. Supervises the residents. Reports to charge nurse and LTC supervisor Essential - Provides direct care to adult and geriatric LTC residents - Provides supervision of residents who need supervision in performing their own ADLs and assist as needed - Provide opportunities for residents to maintain their independence. Ambulates residents who are able to ambulate. Report to charge nurse or supervisor when ambulating becomes difficult or unsafe.
