General Maintenance Worker

Performs a wide variety of maintenance and construction duties throughout campus or other assigned areas as directed by the Trades Manager through the work order system. This may consist of remodeling, millwork projects, install and repair doors, inspect and repair roofs and any other type of hard surfaces. Qualifications An Associate's degree in Building Construction a related field OR any combination of education and experience totaling 4-years. Know the State, County and ADA codes. Have the knowledge to read and understand blue prints, interpret maps, plats, charts & plans. AutoCAD experience a plus but not required Know the policies of Snow College. Maintain, repair and know the proper use of tools and equipment. Take orally and written direction. Have the skills to use or operate all types of hand and power tools. Work with other departments on campus. Know the maters and methods and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures and/or buildings.
