Gas Utility Worker
: Job Details :

Provide quality customer service by inspecting meters and equipment and providing information to customers. Perform other duties as assigned and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Report to assigned leader. Duties performed under the general supervision of the Operations Supervisor. Job Responsibilities Report irregularities in meter reading or in gas consumption. Inform supervisor of any discrepancies. Report suspected cases of diversion. Report meter installation not conforming to company rules. Report gas leaks on service lines, broken meters and service seals. Provide Customer Service. Relay customer requests to appropriate personnel. Provide information regarding company policies and rates. Handle minor customer complaints Paint meters. Common duties as assigned by management.
