Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: 2 years of experience required ARDMS registry required BLS - American Heart Association required Associate's Degree required All general and vascular except for ABIs and segmental pressure. No echo or breast Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn applications relevant to the position MORE INFORMATION: Performs Ultrasound procedures to obtain desired imaging results according to physicians specifications Responsible for appropriate operation of all Ultrasound Imaging and related equipment Appropriately educates, positions, immobilizes and performs Ultrasound procedures Coordinates Ultrasound examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care Understands and follows provider Imaging orders correctly Submits required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation Appropriately evaluates image quality Open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists and leadership Appropriately utilizes, charges and maintains department supplies Practices sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines Safely performs Ultrasound procedures including patient transfer About Premier Medical Staffing Services Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is a nationally expanding healthcare staffing firm for healthcare professionals and companies.
