Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and uphold QA standards, processes, and documentation that comply with industry best practices and customer needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to affirm compliance with internal quality benchmarks and applicable quality management frameworks.
  • Identify and address quality challenges through root cause analysis, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Evaluate operational processes and outputs to spot trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management, to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment.
  • Track key quality metrics and compile reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Provide training and mentorship to internal teams to cultivate a culture of quality and continuous enhancement.
  • Engage in project reviews and process evaluations to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance from planning through execution.
  • Assist with compliance efforts concerning regulatory requirements and customer-specific quality mandates.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining technical QA/QC systems for complex products or systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis to identify quality trends and drive actionable insights.
  • Solid grasp of quality control, testing operations, and requirements analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with integration testing, system testing, and performance testing methodologies.
  • Ability to design and execute test plans, utilizing structured troubleshooting techniques to ascertain root causes of defects.
  • Experience in developing or using test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with capacity to collaborate across technical and client-facing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects independently and mentor junior staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ISTQB Certification, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or equivalent are highly valued.
  • Experience with end-to-end product lifecycle quality assurance, focusing on design validation and post-delivery feedback analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards like ISO 9001, IEEE 829, or CMMI frameworks.
  • Strong project management capabilities and experience coordinating QA efforts across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in testing strategies and QA planning within Agile, DevOps, or hybrid environments.
  • Advanced expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, LoadRunner) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Broad understanding of related domains, such as systems engineering, software development, or manufacturing processes.

Note: This position is based at our facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
