Based in any U.S. Office, the Business & Operations Analyst will be responsible for data analysis, process optimization, reporting, and strategic thinking.

This role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Compile and review operational and management reports on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and clarity before distribution.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and provide essential data as needed for operational efficiency.
• Manage and execute ad-hoc projects, including research and analysis, to support organizational goals.
• Respond comprehensively to surveys and client inquiries with detailed and well-prepared information.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data to develop actionable recommendations for management decisions.
• Independently prepare reports, presentations, and analyses to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of personnel within the organization.
• Meticulous attention to detail, creativity in problem solving, and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Analytical skills to understand, execute, and communicate complex concepts, including financial literacy.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with AI applications.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for creating detailed reports and presentations.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database structures is a plus.

Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of related work experience in a professional environment; law firm experience is a plus.
• Experience or working knowledge of marketing, financial, technology, project management and strategy concepts desired.
• Representative projects: Strategy development; company, competitor, industry, market analysis; program development and implementation.

Gibson Dunn will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of local law.

The annual compensation range for this position is $95-115k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
