Job Description: CAM (Mastercam) Application EngineerMLC CAD Systems is seeking an Application Engineer for our Computer-Aided Manufacturing team.MLC CAD Systems is the #1 Value-Added Reseller (VAR) of Mastercam (CAM Software), the leader in 3D CAD/CAM technology.For the right individual, this position offers a unique opportunity for someone with proven machining and CNC programming experience to provide business solutions for the manufacturing industries, ranging from global, household name companies to small machine shops.Required experience: Proven machining and CNC set-up, cutting tools, and controller experience; Mastercam experience is essential.Location: Seattle (Algona), WashingtonPosition Purpose: Provide pre- and post-sales support for Mastercam and downstream applications, including machine setup and product benchmarking. Responsibilities include product demonstrations, competitive overviews, training, and customer service.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct pre-sale activities including customer visits, opportunity evaluation, machine assessment, and recommendations.Develop and present product demonstrations, presentations, and marketing content.Provide installation, implementation, and best practices guidance.Train customers in Mastercam setup and operation.Offer troubleshooting support via phone and web.Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of our product lines.Qualifications & Characteristics:CAM programming experience with Mastercam.At least five years of experience in CNC applications/manufacturing, capable of programming and operating machines.Five-axis CAM programming experience is required; Mill-Turn experience is a plus.Strong focus on customer success and communication skills.Ability to produce written and video instructions.Comfortable speaking in front of groups for training purposes.Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects.Willingness to travel regionally and overnight as needed.Compensation: Base salary plus performance bonus, with full healthcare benefits, 401(k) with matching, and paid vacation.Benefits include: Contributory 401(k) matching, comprehensive medical coverage, life insurance, and PTO from day one.#J-18808-Ljbffr
