Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering, and construction.The Project Scheduler plays a key role in the management of the Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility of Idaho National Lab. This includes assisting the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with the development of project plans, Construction Project Manager compliance and accuracy validation of subcontract vendor schedules (baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead), including progress and schedule logic conflict management. Forecasting, diagnosing, and planning workarounds and other project tracking needs.Job Responsibilities:Creating and maintaining subcontractor schedules in P6Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction projectsupporting the Project Controls Manager in the compiling of multiple subproject schedules to establish the status of work on a weekly basisPreparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls ManagerSupports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoringProvides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the projectValidate variance analysisFrequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, finance and accounting stakeholdersQualifications:5 or more years of work experience3+ years of experience on large scale heavy industrial projectsExperience with Primavera P65 or more years of experience (demonstrating of proficiency) in administering project schedulesExperience with the MS Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple subprojects with minimum supervisionCommunication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the project teamUSA citizenshipMust be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required. Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background checkPreferred Qualifications:Prefer local candidates but not mandatoryExperience with ARES PRISM is a plusExperience with project accounting and cost estimating is a plusExperience with Deltek Acumen softwareFinancial analysis experienceBIM modeling experience such as Synchro and NavisWorksWork Environment:Office environment (95%)May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals and industrial facilitiesPhysical Requirements:Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditionsMust be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift. Lifting requirements limited to 25 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing, and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
