One Hope United's residential care program provides a range of quality services to adolescents in foster care. Youth entering residential care are traumatized and sometimes in crisis. As a Youth Care Worker in our residential program, you are a part of a team that provides a range of mental health services to our youth.What you would be doing: You would be the professional staff member who provides supervision for the youth in their residential home You would know the joy of training, modeling, and skill-building for the youth Through individual and group instruction, you would teach the youth skills in daily living, recreational activities, socialization, and independent living. Your efforts with the youth would empower them toward the goals outlined in their Individual Treatment Plans and the OHU Residential Program Plans. You would be trained in the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) approved behavior modification program (receiving a certification!) You will be a vital part of the youth's growth and development. Provides care and treatment to youth that is strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered.What you can expect from us:Residential Program CultureThe residential team has a long history of creating a culture of caring for employees. After five years of work as a Youth Care Worker, you will earn a Mental Health Professional certification from Medicaid and be eligible for a role with increased responsibility and pay.
