A bit about us:Ranked among the nation's top commercial and industrial constructionWhy join us?Competitive CompensationFull BenefitsCompany vehicleGrowth Opportunities Job DetailsPrimary Duties:Ensuring superintendents have the necessary trades, materials, and equipment available to efficiently construct the projectOverseeing subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, etc. to support project schedule delivery and scope of work commitmentsPerforming and overseeing of project-specific QA/QC practices to ensure projects are delivered to project specifications and standards of qualityCompleting and communicating daily reports of activities that were scheduled and completed, along with other communications regarding the project's progress to all stakeholdersCompleting walk-throughs of the site to ensure safety, cleanliness, and standards are maintainedIdentifying and resolving field and design issuesLeading meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concernsRepresenting the site team in owners' meetingsDeveloping and maintaining the site logistics plan for the project in conjunction with the General SuperintendentDeveloping scopes of work for each subcontractorPerforming constructability reviewsArranging and leading preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors before beginning each phase of workTracking field progress against the plan, assisting in the development of the recovery plans if necessaryParticipating in ensuring quality control is by the established project quality assurance programScheduling and leading the project close-out processCoordinating punch list items and proceduresManaging the project permit processParticipating in the development of strategic plans including VDCAssists with administering the site safety program as required and ensuring Trade Partner compliance withQualifications:An undergraduate University degree or higher (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field) is preferredOther relevant education, training or work experience may substitute for a bachelor's degreeMinimum of five (5) years construction management experienceExperience in managing trades valued at $50MMExperience with large/complex safety plan implementationPMP certified preferredJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
