About the Role
The Company is in need of a VP of Compliance with a strong background in commercial banking and lending, particularly in the context of private equity funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing a range of compliance procedures, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and consumer compliance. This role involves conducting BSA investigations, filing SARs and CTRs, and ensuring adherence to the USA PATRIOT Act. The VP of Compliance will also support annual risk assessments, review and approve account and loan requests for compliance, and maintain thorough documentation. Additionally, the role includes acting as an audit liaison and requires a deep understanding of relevant regulations and experience with FIS systems. Applicants for the VP of Compliance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the compliance field, with a focus on commercial banking and lending. A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification is essential. The role demands a candidate with a comprehensive knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC, and consumer compliance, as well as a solid understanding of the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and related regulations. Experience with FIS systems, including IBS, BIC, Prime, and Actimize, is also required. A college degree or equivalent professional experience is a necessary qualification for this position.
