We offer competitive benefits including 401(k), disability insurance, paid holidays, and more.Job Summary:The PLC Electronics Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, motor control systems, and communication networks to ensure the smooth functioning of manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Test and diagnose faulty electronic equipment using tools/software.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Troubleshoot, repair, and install PLCs, HMIs, and inverter control packages.Maintain and install fiber and copper communication networks.Collaborate with IT on data transfer/reporting.Provide documentation, SOPs, and training to support operations.Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEC codes.Respond to after-hours calls as needed.Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.Adhere to all safety, food safety, and GMP standards.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 2 years' experience in PLC, HMI, and motor control system development, installation, and troubleshooting.Specialized training in:PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, statement list)HMI configuration (screen layout, animation, alarms)Documentation and program structureElectrical and mechanical diagram interpretationSkills:Strong diagnostic and analytical ability.Understanding of industrial codes (NEC, NFPA, IEC).Able to work independently and flexible hours as needed.
