ROSE STATE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES AN OPENING IN ACADEMIC AFFAIRSPOSITION: Career Development CoordinatorDescription of Duties: Under the direction of the Director of Career Development, the coordinator will plan and implement practices that will improve upon the educational services and experiences provided to students during their time at the College and as they transition to careers and/or four-year educational institutions. This position will offer students and alumni career-placement assistance, execute career planning events, and provide in class workshops. This position will organize, implement, and manage all aspects of on-campus job fairs, internship fairs, and college transfer fairs. Provide career advising to students and alumni in one-on-one and group settings, including job search strategies, interviewing techniques, and resume/LinkedIn development assistance. Manage the work-based learning program for all students including providing job placement assistance for students approved by the Office of Financial Aid for Federal Work Study positions. Manage software solutions such as CampusCE, Handshake, Jobscan, Accuplacer, etc., including all student and employer registration accounts. Work with undecided students to introduce them to aptitude assessment tools and concepts, high demand job trends and opportunities, and educational pathways for success. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Four years of administrative office experience to include project management. Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Moderate lifting up to 30 lbs. and moderate carrying up to 30 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping. Manual dexterity is sufficient to type. Some local/regional travel as needed. Limited nights and weekends throughout the year. Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree or equivalent. Five years of administrative office experience to include the management of major projects. Application Deadline: August 14, 2025 Please submit application materials as requested.
