Maybe even be a mentor to other staff members? We got the job for you! The Afterschool Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and management of an afterschool program site. This role ensures a safe, enriching, and engaging environment for students, while supervising staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining communication with families, school personnel, and community partners. Come join our team as we make a difference in the afterschool programs. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the afterschool program at the assigned site.
- Supervise and support program staff, volunteers, and activity leaders.
- Develop and implement a variety of academic, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and program leadership.
- Monitor program quality and make improvements as needed.
- Manage site supplies and ensure proper use of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- A passion for working with kids.
- Must meet State of MA Child Care Licensing requirements.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting will be completed upon being offered a position Background check clearance required.
Supplemental Information Work Shifts/Hours:
- FLEXIBLE scheduling available.
- Hours available within Monday - Friday 3:00 - 6:00p
- Additional hours available during school vacations, week nights, and weekends.
Pay Range: The hiring range is $27.25-29.75 per hour depending on experience and qualification level. Benefits:
