We are looking for a Machinist B for our Westbury NY facility. In this role under limited supervision, you will perform intricate manufacturing parts using manual and computerized machining operations to fabricate parts and components for a wide variety of systems.

Your Responsibilities:
- Work from blueprints and verbal instructions to lay out sequential details of standard machining operations and prototypes assembly set ups for a variety of machine parts.
- Set up and operate more than one machine tools; such as CNC, millers, grinders, sheet metal equipment and hand tools for machining components.
- Use all machine shop measuring and gauging devices to align and/or machine metal, or plastic parts to meet required specifications.
- May train and provide technical direction to other machinists.
- Operate and maintenance machine in optimal operation following maintenance schedule ( TPM).
- Keeps tools and work area in a safe, clean and orderly manner.(5 S routines)
- Participate and collaborate in process improvement initiatives.
- Participate and collaborate in root cause corrective actions (RCCA) on machine operation.
- Use all prescribed personal protection equipment (PPE) where deemed necessary; Follow established environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and work instructions associated with assigned duties and work location
- Performs other duties as required.
Your Profile:
- Study or knowledge equivalent to high school or technical school, plus two years apprenticeship training and 3 to 7 years diversified machining experience.
- Must have the ability to use handbook formulas and advanced shop mathematics.
