You'll collaborate with other team members to help ensure a smooth flow for the day. Responsibilities include:Welcomes patientsVerifies patient information and makes corrects in the computer systemConfirms appointment times, locations, and providers during check-inCommunicates delays to the front desk leadAssists in ensuring appointments are confirmedAssists in open and closing proceduresPrints daily appointment schedules and front desk reports Verifies insurance through epaces, heathenet, healthplexInputs insurance information including active/expired datesSends appropriate patient messagesAssists patients in filling out formsCollects co-payments including sliding scale nominal feeAdheres to cash handling policyYou will be primarily based at our Riverway location 1569 Niagara St., and will also travel to other Neighborhood sites as needed.What it's Like to Work at Neighborhood:The top three words employees say describe the work environment are: teamwork, supportive, kind.
