Your Role as an Assistant Preschool Teacher: As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will support the classroom community by helping children feel safe, engaged, and excited to learn. Working alongside a lead teacher and another assistant, you will nurture two- and three-year-old children through structured activities, creative play, and daily routines. This role requires warmth, reliability, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. Key Responsibilities:Classroom Support
- Help children feel comfortable and engaged in their classroom
- Assist the lead teacher with daily lesson plans and activities
- Prepare and organize art projects and classroom materials
Child Care & Safety
- Assist with children's toileting needs and diaper changes
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe classroom environment
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure children's safety and well-being
Collaboration
- Work positively with co-teachers and supervisors to maintain a harmonious classroom
- Participate actively in a team-focused teaching approach
Other Duties as Assigned
- Comfortably work with live animals during daily science lessons
- Support special classroom activities and school events
