The Patient Care Technician (PCT) II prepares patient for physician's visit, shows patient to room or treatment area, takes vital signs, and documents the patient's reason for the office visit. The PCT will function in multiple capacities when interacting with patients to include performing the duties of a Patient Service Representative (PSR).Do You Have What It Takes?A good candidate will bring with them: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course Active registration with DHEC for SC CNA certification 1 or more years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant General knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality Computer skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology Current CPR certification and to be trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance Willing to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays Willing to work at other centers to ensure staffing coverage Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with proper telephone etiquette Tactful and professional manner Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.An ideal candidate would also have: One (1) or more years of experience working a medical office setting One (1) or more years of experience working with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system (preferably Cerner)
