WJHG/ WECP Northwest Florida's leading news stations seek a Broadcast/ IT Engineer in Panama City Beach, Florida. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on maintenance of the technical infrastructure supporting all live, recorded, and post-production projects. This individual must be hard-working and self-motivated with an ability to thrive in high-stress situations. The candidate must be available to work during breaking news situations, severe weather, new system integrations and updates, and be part of the Engineering Team's on-call rotation. At least 2 years of working experience in IT/ Broadcast Engineering is required. This position also involves periodically working in Master Control for the station's 12 channels. Duties/ Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): - Troubleshoot and Repair PC, Networking, Studio, and Field Equipment, and Transmitter Problems.- Manage the maintenance and repair of all company facilities associated with our station.
