The School of Social Sciences and International Studies (So. SSIS) at Wright State University (WSU) invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin January 2026. The position has a duration of 1.5 years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and departmental needs. The teaching is focused on the Anthropology and Crime and Justice Studies (CJS) programs within the College of Liberal Arts. This faculty member will also develop and regularly teach courses in Biological Anthropology, with special emphasis on Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology, to serve undergraduate students in the Anthropology major, students in the undergraduate CJS major (especially those pursuing the Forensic Studies Minor), and the Criminal Justice courses at the graduate level to serve the CJ track within the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
