And Duties: Receiving Responsible for the physical handling, transactions within the companys ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system and other required documentation/logging activities related to the receipt of all incoming materials and items from outside sources into the companys inventory asset storerooms or expensed locations. Assists in coordinating with Quality to ensure that routine, incoming inspections of manufacturing materials and any special inspection requirements are performed in a timely manner. Responsible for the proper return-to-vendor transactions and proper material handling to return the material to the vendor. Responsible for the receipt, transaction and proper routing of customer product returns within the guidelines of the companys returned material authorization system. Provides assistance with transaction history investigations pertaining to receiving accuracy discrepancies.
