PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY (PLC) FACILITATOR (Q Comp)One Year Commitment (2024-2025)
Responsibilities
- Develop meeting agendas
- Communicate with Q Comp team to establish meeting schedule that accommodates members of the PLC
- Facilitate team meetings to assure that the team is working toward site goals
- Ensure that PLC SMART goal aligns to district SMART goal
- Prepare and report minutes (including member attendance and participation) of meetings to Q Comp Coordinator
- Participate in 3-4 possible required trainings throughout year
- Maintain records of PLC meetings
- Communicate with Q Comp PLC Coordinator as needs arise
Qualifications
- Current MN Teaching Licensure
- Tenure in district preferred
- Flexible, self-motivated, collaborative and able to work with diverse teams
- Proficiency in communicating instructional strategies and skills to other teachers
- Knowledge of current research-based best practices that improve student learning
- Skills in organization, leadership, communication, and collaboration
Training
- Required Facilitator training will be scheduled during back-to-school workshop or the first two weeks of school.
Stipend: $750
