Job Description

Summary:

The Loaner Agent is responsible for managing the dealership's fleet of loaner vehicles which are provided to customers while their own vehicles are being serviced.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the loaner vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.

Handle the check-in and check-out process for loaner vehicles, which includes explaining the terms of use, documenting customer information, and providing vehicle keys.

Track the availability and condition of all loaner vehicles in the dealership's fleet.

Coordinate with the service department to provide customers with loaner vehicles during their service appointments.

Maintain accurate records of loaner vehicle agreements, including customer details, vehicle assignment, mileage, and condition reports.

Inspect vehicles before and after use, documenting any damages or issues.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership's professional appearance.

Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a rental car or loaner vehicle environment.

Compensation (Hourly):

$21.00 to $24.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

FULL TIME

5 days a week / 2 days off

Sundays off

Weekend availability required

Service Drive Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30am to 6pm

Saturday: 7:30am to 5:30pm
