Job Description :

Our client, a Prestigious Brand, is seeking a Freelance Creative Director. The duration of this position would be 2 months to start with the potential to extend based on performance and overall business needs. It is required to be in the office at least 3 days/week, please do not apply if you are not able to be on-site.

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:

The primary focus of this position is to deliver compelling strategic creative solutions, consumer experiences and develop a holistic consumer journey across the brand's ecosystem, including our .com sites, social platforms, partnered retailers and digital 360 programs. Balancing art and science, the Director is an innovative creative thinker and doer and must be able to understand the design implications on business. Additionally, this role requires multi-tasking, hands-on design skill and in-depth technical understanding to effectively lead and manage any given project.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Champion the brand to elevate as a leader in all regions with innovative creative executions
  • Execute excellence in all 2D & Digital design work and maintain a consistent, cohesive language throughout all brand materials in order to meet the overall objective and strategy
  • Lead and partner with cross-functional teams for all design initiatives - internally and externally
  • Liaise with regional marketing and affiliates to understand local digital initiatives and help markets integrate at the local level
  • Develop strategic regional advertising campaigns across all platforms including digital media/display, mobile, social, video, out-of-home and in-store to create multi-channel awareness
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate should have 8+ years of experience with strong creative, visual design and digital expertise
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with a focus in the luxury and consumer goods industry
  • Innovative mindset to experiment with new concepts and approaches, ability to create creative solutions to difficult problems
  • Keen understanding of new media and innovations in the creative and marketing ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of regional consumer trends and other regional nuances
  • Experience in managing a creative team at an agency or brand
  • Ability to source new vendors, technology and new platforms
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, oversee multiple projects, attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams
  • Great communicator who can clearly and effectively communicate expectations and be relatable to a range of people spanning business to creative to technical disciplines
  • B.A. Degree in Design or comparable required
