Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full-timeProject Officer Associatewith expertise in all aspects of the management process for general construction projects across NYC.

The ideal candidate has either aBachelor's Degreefrom an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering or anAssociate's Degree and 2 years of experienceIn construction Inspection and monitoring of construction projects, and resides in the area of New York, NY.If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.

This position will be full-time, On-site inNew York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist Project Officers in overseeing work performed across various school projects in New York City.
  • Review documents submitted for City required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain database of information, both physically and digitally, ensuring all information is readily available for review and audit.
  • Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various City agencies.
  • Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review and/or approval.
  • May be required to work closely with Plan Examiners in reviewing documents for City Building Code and for guaranteeing compliance.
  • Research existing building status from City records at various agencies.
  • Perform related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONSinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering; or an Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience In construction management, Inspection, and/or monitoring of construction projects.
  • Strong computer skills withMS Office, AutoCADrequired. Additional experience withBluebeam, Procore, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant construction softwarepreferred.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
