This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. This will be a hybrid position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing and overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) to support client programs and projects including design and construction phases of work.
- Develop, update, and analyze detailed execution schedules for multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), work packages, and activities.
- Establish baseline schedules, conduct reviews of durations, logic, resources, and costs.
- Review periodic CPM updates, provide schedule comparison reports, and conduct detailed reviews.
- Assess and recommend solutions for schedule delays, scope changes, and delays.
- Coordinate with project teams to assess variances, risks, and create schedule forecasts.
- Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to evaluate potential delays.
- Provide schedule recovery recommendations and conduct recovery reviews.
- Perform scenario analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience managing CPM project schedules in Primavera.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or related field.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling.
- Experience with contract change order management and EOT analysis.
- Project financial forecasting skills.
- Experience with cross-functional teams and large client programs.
- Effective reporting and communication skills.
- Building construction or project management experience.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Building construction or project management experience.
Compensation
Expected Salary: $95,000 - $169,290
WSP USA may pay more or less than the range based on candidate qualifications and other factors.
