Location: Paramus, NJ (On-site)

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)

Summary

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented Bookkeeper looking to make an impact in a close-knit and collaborative environment? Our client, a small but well-established company based in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a smaller office setting and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping (AP, AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations)
• Handle payroll processing and related reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Liaise with CPA for year-end close and tax preparation
• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial decision-making support

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Strong background in small business environments
• Industry experience in property management, real estate, or a similar field is strongly preferred
• Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
