Description

Our Interclypse customer is seeking to enhance cloud engineering practices by automating manual business and IT processes in Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) services such as CloudFormation, CodePipeline, SSM Automation Documents, and Config Rules. This role involves building, maintaining, and refining a full-stack, centralized DevOps CI/CD pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing systems administration, support, upgrades, and troubleshooting services.
  • Support Linux or Unix system administration to facilitate DevOps toolsets.
  • Install, configure, and maintain middleware (e.g., JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx).
  • Collaborate with application teams to understand automation needs and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write unit and integration tests for infrastructure code.
  • Identify and improve engineering defects in existing codebases.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations and support procedures.
  • Manage project components to meet objectives.
  • Develop automation scripts to enhance DevOps tools.
  • Work with software teams to define and implement DevOps processes and tools.
  • Incorporate AWS native services to improve performance and resilience.
  • Design and document DevOps and cloud standards and best practices.
  • Research and explore new automation opportunities to add business value.
  • Stay updated on new AWS offerings and services.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines for various system sizes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Serverless architectures, container orchestration (OpenShift, EKS, Docker Swarm, ECS, Kubernetes), CloudFormation, SAM, or Terraform.
  • Experience with version control (Git), build tools, and CI tools (Jenkins, CloudBees).
  • Proficiency in Linux or Unix environments.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Two years of related work experience may substitute for each year of education.
