Overview
The Assistant Director Of Security is responsible for managing the Security Department to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property.
Responsibilities
Motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline security personnel according to hotel SOPs.Review daily activity and incident reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.Coordinate emergency responses and assist outside agencies as needed.Supervise investigations and implement emergency procedures.Participate actively in the Safety Committee.Monitor property patrols and maintain security visibility.Ensure compliance with Innkeeper's Laws and Loss Prevention SOPs.Assist in training staff on safety procedures and maintain emergency kits.Conduct security interviews, develop employee morale, and manage scheduling and payroll documentation.Maintain security equipment, key control, and supplies.Perform guest and employee escorts, bag inspections, and security logs review.Support guest requests while maintaining security and privacy standards.Ensure proper documentation and filing of security-related activities.Maintain open communication with all departments and enforce hotel policies.Operate radios, establish key control, and oversee security procedures.Assist with security incidents and ensure safety protocols are followed.Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.Supervisory experience preferred.Proficiency in Windows and MS Office.Valid driver's license required.Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing stairs and deterring threats.Additional Details
