The Digital Animation Team Lead will oversee the artistic and technical direction of all 2D and 3D animation projects created by the digital illustration team, aligning initiatives with Abeka's vision and mission under the guidance of the Assistant Product Manager for Digital. This role involves coordinating art and animation development, ensuring project alignment with specifications, industry standards, and maintaining a consistent visual style across mediums. The Team Lead will also focus on the professional growth of the animation team, fostering collaboration, and streamlining workflows for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Digital Artistic Direction & Standards: Maintain a clear artistic vision, support industry best practices, critique work, and stay current with industry advancements.

Develop Digital Animation Team: Mentor staff and student animators, conduct performance reviews, and promote a collaborative environment.

Optimize Workflow & Project Development: Collaborate on project goals, develop efficient workflows, and ensure timely project delivery.

Ensure Quality Assurance & Collaboration: Oversee quality standards, communicate project status, and coordinate with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: College Degree in Graphic Design (Required), Master's Degree (Preferred)
• Experience: 5+ years in animation (Required), 3+ years in Abeka Publishing (Preferred)
• Skills: Adobe Creative Cloud, Animation Software, Project Management, Leadership, Process Optimization, Technical Problem-Solving, Workflow Development, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be born-again Christians, committed to training youth for service to God, and aligned with Pensacola Christian College's doctrinal and educational standards. An assessment may be required.
