Job Description

Role Summary:

This role involves managing port logistics operations efficiently and cost-effectively, covering functions such as labor allocation, audits, process analysis, planning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management System directives. It includes overseeing OSHA regulations and statutory compliance to maintain a safe workplace, and integrating port-level programs with corporate standards and Quality Assurance guidelines.

Role Responsibilities:

  • MDO/PIA Warehouse Management (80%)
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent delays
  • Ensure quality and proper storage of parts
  • Coordinate with production for forecasting and resolving issues
  • Ensure safety protocols and environmental standards are followed
  • Maintain accurate inventory and oversee receipt and inspection of parts
  • Generate reports on warehouse status and performance metrics
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff
  • Manage relevant PQO Parts activities (20%)
  • Maintain employee training matrices and oversee work allocation
  • Create SOPs, manage access, and lead inspection processes
  • Train technicians, plan for new models, and manage tools and performance evaluations
  • Qualifications:

    Years of Experience: 5+ Years in Leadership & Operations

    Education:

    • High School Diploma
    • Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Service Technology or Engineering

    Skills:

    • Leadership, analytical thinking, communication, computer skills, integration, negotiation, problem-solving, resource management

    Specialized Skills:

    • Knowledge of Flamingo, LAMA systems, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ASE Certification, Automotive Diagnostics, PQO systems, ETKA, Parts on Command, TWIC, ERNA, Flamingo admin, German language, I-CAR Certification

    Work Flexibility:

    • Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed for vessel/train arrivals, market introductions, and follow-ups.
